Job Description / Responsibility:
Target: Meet sales target set for GSA by Malaysia Airlines.
Regular sales call to Travel Agents as well as corporate houses.
To prepare sales plan including individual target for other sales representatives.
To supervise and monitor overall activities of sales team.
To monitor daily/monthly sales call plan for the sales personnel.
To conduct meeting with sales & marketing team to review progress and to take corrective actions when needed.
To assess business opportunities and developing strategies.
To follow up new and regular prospective clients to solicit new business and to improve / strengthen relationship.
To attend customer service and critical complaint issues and solving them.
Market Intelligence activities
To collect market information & updating competition status to Sales / Area Manager.
To collect information on competitors promotional campaign
Other communication to the trade.
To supervise market surveys and analyzing data on the buying habits and preferences of customers.
Assisting Sales Manager for preparing Market fare proposal.
Assisting Sales Manager inpreparing Tacticalcampaign, wheneverneeded.
Assisting Sales Manager for group fare or any periodical ADHOC fare proposal.
Coordinating with agents for group fare request to Area Manager, Pricing Analyst HQ and Pricing Manager HQ for approval.
Responsible for Market fare related issues, ADHOC fare filing and obtain approval from HQ.
Filing documents regarding Market fare/ ADHOC fare.
Coordinating with pricing analyst, Network Revenue Management, Area Manager, Sales Manager and Pricing Manager (South Asia) for any sort of group fare request, approval, group handling.
Explaining terms and conditions of Market fare, consolidated fare, group fare to ticketing, reservation and accounts department.
To prepare monthly GSA Sales & Marketing report.
To prepare station’s competitors spot fare analysis for Pricing analyst and RM office.
To prepare Assessment reports on different promotional activities for SM.
Assist SM for preparing reports for RO.
Maintain regular PAX uplift data and station’s revenue performance by month.
To prepare Sales and marketing reports fortnightly & monthly.
Handle BSP issues-Capping, refund related issues.
Maintain liaison with embassy and with diplomats to increase sales.
Take Initiative to develop the Enrich Frequent Flyer program in Bangladesh market.
Daily telesales during office hours.
Handling MICE Agents.
Minimum Graduate from a recognize University
5 to 6 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements:
Minimum five years of experience in related fields, preferably with a airlines GSA or airlines background
